Junior Accountant

Summary:

Our company, The Premier Trading Plc, a diverse and dynamic business company engaged in technology, import, housing projects, human resource training, consultancy and employment, is seeking a young and energetic Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and assisting with audits.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements, reports and budgets
• Perform general bookkeeping tasks such as recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining ledgers
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings
• Support month-end and year-end audit process
• Perform other duties as assigned by the senior accountant or management

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• At least 2 years of work experience in a business organization
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and internet usage
• Peach tree training certificate or ability to perform
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
