Marketing & SEO Assistant (Full-Time, In-Person)

About the Role
Wondemnet Technologies are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing & SEO Assistant to join our team full-time. This is an in-person position based in our office, where you’ll be provided with the tools and environment to perform your work effectively.

You will play a key role in supporting three businesses across e-commerce, AI/tech, and hospitality

Responsibilities

• SEO & Content Support
  • Write and update product descriptions, blogs, and meta tags.
  • Perform on-page SEO optimizations and publish guest posts.
  • Support social media content creation and posting.
• Research & Outreach
  • Identify guest post opportunities and backlink sites.
  • Conduct research on leads and AI tools.
  • Find accurate contact details and emails.
• Website Management
  • Add and update products on websites (WooCommerce/Drupal, WordPress, Wix).
  • Assist with light Web design and content management.
  • Ensure websites remain optimized and up to date.

Compensation

• Salary: 7,500 – 10,000 ETB per month, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of SEO and content optimization.
• Experience with WordPress; familiarity with e-commerce platforms a plus.
• Strong research and data collection skills.
• Good written English and ability to write/edit short content.
• Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Education (Recommended)

• Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in IT, Computer Science, Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field.
• OR a college diploma/certificate in digital marketing, web development, or related areas.
• Strong self-taught candidates with proven skills will also be considered.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with AI tools and digital marketing trends.
• Canva or simple design skills.
• Experience in managing social media or LinkedIn accounts.
